Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Joy. This precious little girl joined the NorCal family when her owner was arrested and she was taken to the shelter.
Joy has been an absolute "joy", hence her name, since she arrived. She is a happy, spry, friendly little girl and absolutely loveable. When Joy first arrived and was given a bath, she jumped for joy and gave a happy bark, as if she was thanking us for taking care and loving her. Although her pictures make her look very sad, we think she is just camera shy.
Joy's foster mom reports that Joy is a mellow little girl, she likes to take naps and enjoys being petted. She gets along great with other dogs and likes to go out in the yard and sniff around. She rides well in the car and would enjoy a short walk. Joy is potty trained and will bark, at the door, when she needs to go out. She loves to eat, in typical cocker style and will find her special bed when its time to go to sleep.
Joy has been to the vet and has a skin and ear infection, which we are working on. Other than that, she is in good health.
If you think you can find a place in your home and heart for Joy, please go on our website at norcalcockerrescue.org and fill out an adoption application.
