Licorice is a 2 year old terrier mix, who came to the shelter as a stray. A good Samaritan brought him here after picking him up on a construction sight after finding out someone dumped him there. Licorice had no tags, or microchip so unfortunately, we were unable to find out where he came from. Now, he is settling in and is currently up for adoption. Whatever he has been through prior to being here, we are determined to help him find his new forever. We believe Licorice has never really been on leash before, as he is a little unsure of the lead. Licorice does enjoy playtime, and is learning all the different kinds we have (stuffies / rope toys/ Kong's/ ect.). Licorice enjoys being pet, but can become over stimulated and jumpy. He seems to know a few basic cues, like "sit" and "wait". At this time, Licorice is recommended to a home with teens, 16 and up.
