My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This charming girl exhibits exceptional manners, a sharp mind, and a quick learning ability. Mila's tenderness and sweetness are unmatched, and her keen observation skills are truly remarkable.

Mila is an active companion who relishes walks, runs, and playful moments with toys. Her delight in affection and treats makes her the perfect companion. Her ability to get along with other dogs, affinity for children, and love for treats make Mila the ideal friend.

If you're seeking an adventure companion, Mila is ready to become your best friend, eager to share every moment and fill your life with love and joy.

Mila is fostered in Ajijic, Mexico, and can be adopted locally or in the United States or Canada.

More about this rescue

Bone Voyage is a non-profit rescue group created to send Mexican dogs north to better homes. We work with the local shelters and with people in the Lake Chapala area that have many street dogs in their care.

We also assist individuals that find street dogs and don’t know what to do with them. We are all volunteers working together to try to minimize the amount of homeless dogs in the area.
