Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Miley cam into the shelter as a stray on December 27th, immediately charming everyone with her sweet demeanor. All she craves is love and attention! She is very affectionate and will stand between your legs, a behavior associated with safety and comfort. She forms quick bonds with those around her and will often check in with her human to make sure they're still there. She is quite loyal, playful, and energetic. If you offer her a good bone or stuffy, she will sit back and relax, content just to have her human around. Miley will carry her stuffy around like an emotional support toy, melting hearts in the process!
Miley appears to be housetrained and responds to "sit," all while motivated by tasty treats during training. When excitement hits, she might jump up on you, but it's just a burst of enthusiasm from this spirited pup. Keep in mind, she shows some separation anxiety behaviors, likely a testament to her longing for a forever family that won't leave her behind. While Miley hasn't officially been dog tested, she's shown friendly behavior overall. If one of the female dogs barks and growls, she might act defensively, but she hasn't started any trouble herself.
Come down to meet Miley and witness her charming personality firsthand, or stay tuned as we continue discovering more about this delightful canine companion! Miss Miley is not yet spayed but will be before adoption.
