Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Coley ✨
The sweet girl is just over a year and has never met a stranger. Despite her background of being abandoned, tied to a guard rail on malfunction Junction in Birmingham and after it took her a minute to gain trust she now is humans best friend!
Coley aka “Girlfriend” by her foster loves playing and sleeping with other dogs. She likes toys and chewing on bones and will share with the other dogs. She also likes napping on the sofa by her foster mom while she works on the computer and will patiently wait all day if needed. She has no issues with toys or food. She is currently fostered with a large dog and a tiny 10 lb. senior dog and good with both of them. She loves to be with her person but she also likes to play. She is crate trained and sleeps through the night in her crate and is also housetrained. She does pull a little when walking on a leash as she is excited to see new places. Girlfriend rides well in a car. She is also very smart and knows how to follow directions and understands a good bit when receiving direction in her foster home. She is the kind of dog that adjusts quickly and tries very hard to please.
If she has not seen anyone for a while, she will forget her manners and jump up and hug you so she is still perfecting her people manners. She’s your absolute shadow and very eager to please. She’s great with other dogs, has done doggy daycare and lives together with other pups all ages and sizes.
Facts:
🐕Coley is about 50lb and should be full grown.
⛰️She’s friendly with kids and make a great family dog to and active family or young couple.
🐶 Coley would like another dog in the home but would be fine being the only child and getting all the attention too. She will adapt in any home as long as she is loved.
