Gracie is a cuddle enthusiast who adores snuggling in bed and receiving gentle scritches behind her ears. She's not just a lover of human affection; she's also great with kids and other cats, making her a great addition to any family. Gracie isn't shy about expressing herself - she's vocal, adding her own commentary to daily life. Her favorite pastime includes chasing after the elusive red dot of a laser pointer and scratching away on her scratch boards. With her loving nature and playful spirit, Gracie is sure to bring joy and warmth to your home.
Gracie tested positive for FIV, but can live a normal, healthy life. According to the Humane Society of the US, "Cats with FIV often have similar life spans to cats without it: Studies conducted in 2010 and 2022 found that an FIV diagnosis wasn’t associated with decreased lifespans. Go to www.ColumbusPetRescue.com to begin the adoption process today. We have invested time, money, and care into our feline friends and want to ensure they never have to be abandoned again. Click on "available pet" and scroll down to find the adoption application. After filling out an application, e-mail it to ColumbusPetRescue@gmail.com. We will process your information and check veterinary and other references. Finally you may be scheduled for a home visit to make sure the environment is perfect for your new family member. Once you are approved, the process is simple: choose your new cat, meet and greet him or her, and, if all goes well, you have yourself a new pet.
