My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

To know Debbie is to love Debbie! To adopt and care for her means you have time, space, and energy to spare. Debbie is an active, goofy, kindhearted 1 year old, who has the occasional inability to hold her licker. Deb is a big lover, and we cannot fault her for that. With that said she can be a bit jumpy when it comes to her hugs, so it would be best if her adopter(s) were sturdy. Staff and volunteers are working hard on teaching her gentle hugging techniques, but an adopter who is willing to continue that training is a must! She adores other dogs too and would benefit from an overly active and playful dog to be friends with, whether that be in the home or a neighbor/family member. Although she still needs to be cat-tested, we believe she'd be great with children who are also sturdy on their feet and savvy about overly friendly dogs. After a long day of play and smiles, Deb is ready for cuddles, snuggles, and snoring. Please come visit with Deb. She may be the perfect addition to your family!
