I adopted Inge in NYC in 2020. She was found by a cat rescue org living among a cat colony. She was a year old or so, so she’s around four years old now.
In my apartment in NYC she liked to be where she was hidden but could look out. She had hammock among some plants, and eventually let me pet her while eating treats.
I flew to Portland with her and my other cat, Boans. He is at least 2X her size and almost 4X her age. They do not get along great. He doesn’t let her eat and chases her around.
Mostly I am attempting to re-home Inge because I don’t think she likes living here and I need to at least try to get her somewhere she would enjoy better. I know she wants to be able to go outside. Her latest hammock allows her to look out the window and she is almost always there longing for freedoms my yard-less apartment cannot offer.
She requires an open litter box, otherwise she pees out the entrance instead of going all the way inside, likely because she’s scared of Boans.
