Gamora is 5yo, weighs 40lbs, is spayed, is up to date on her vaccines, and is microchipped. Gamora knows the following commands: sit, lay down, down, off, out/outside, in/inside, stay. She does very well during car rides "although she will sometimes jump between the back seats and the front passenger seat". Gamora, like a lot of other dogs, dislikes and/or fears loud noises. Gamora eats any kind of food EXCEPT chicken; "if 'chicken fat' is the only 'chicken' in it, she is fine. Otherwise, she is allergic."
Gamora's guardian explains why she has made the difficult decision to rehome her: "About to move and my dogs can't come with me."
Gamora's guardian offers a brief medical history: "Treatment for ear infections, skin rash (thought to be a yeast infection; later discovered to be due to a chicken allergy)."
Gamora's guardian states the following regarding children: Although Gamora hasn't lived with children, her guardian recommends her living with children, stating "She has always done well when my infant-toddler nephews have come over".
Gamora's guardian states the following regarding dogs: Gamora lives with another dog, so her guardian recommends her living with dogs, stating "She has been to dog parks but usually does not go far from me unless she wants to play with my other dogs. She is timid".
Gamora's guardian states the following regarding cats: Although Gamora hasn't lived with cats, her guardian recommends her living with cats, stating "She has been to my friend's house who had 3 cats and there were never any issues".
Gamora's guardian describes her as:
Couch potato
Affectionate
Fearful
Protective
Always at your side
Indoor dog
Nervous
House-Trained
Crate-Trained
Likes women and warms up to men, depending on what she senses
Separation anxiety
Gamora's guardian describes her ideal future home: "A patient loving home/family that will continue to work with her timidness and get her further training. A slower paced home/family that is willing to take time to love her and is okay with her always having to be touching you in some way."
