My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Handsome Chief is one of 5 Labrador mix puppies who escaped a tough situation but retained their gentle kindness. Chief loves his toys! His foster mom says he especially likes to gather up his toys and pile them in his secret hidey-hole. So cute! Chief has a short, velvety soft coat that is a joy to touch. He has been neutered and is up to date on shots: all included in his adoption fee. This boy will be a handsome dog for sure, and a great companion! He's a real favorite at his foster home.

More about this rescue

At One Dog Rescue, we are changing the world for one dog at a time. We specifically focus on pulling animals who are at high risk for euthanasia, particularly in shelters that practice heart stick euthanasia. We are a brand-new 501(c)3 organization and always in need of donations to help cover veterinary and transportation costs! Since we are volunteers, we appreciate your patience, but we do try to respond to inquiries promptly. One dog at a time, we are making a difference.
