When it comes to relationships, I'm very level-headed. I don't leap in paws first, if you know what I mean. But give me a little time, and then I'll shower you with purrs, head-butts, and plenty of lap time. In the meantime, you may not see a lot of me-but I'll be thinking a lot of you. I do not like dogs, cats, or kids. I would like a quiet home.

The Chemung County Humane Society and SPCA, Inc. is a private, non-profit humane organization. Since 1891, the Chemung County SPCA has been the only not-for-profit organization devoted to the care of the stray, homeless, abused and abandoned animals of Chemung County.

Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for companion animals in Chemung County and surrounding areas by promoting better futures for pets and their people. We achieve this through adoption, fostering, humane education programs, a low-cost spay/neuter program, a low-cost vaccination program, a pet food pantry, and a community cat program,.
