If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Found without collar or microchip seeking shelter from rain in 2021. Posted flyers, checked with local vets/shelters but no one claimed, nor did she lead us to a specific location when walking. She was estimated to be about a year old and appeared healthy and house broken. She acclimated quickly to me and three dogs in a small house with decent yard. She was easily crate trained and this still serves as a comfortable space for her but has been allowed on furniture and bed. Sachi is exuberant, intuitive, talkative and lives to be engaged. It is imperative that she has a family who can walk her daily, will play ball, provide toys and property with secure fencing with an experienced individual who can set safe boundaries. As a single person with 3 other special needs dogs I have struggled to give Sachi complete training, enough high impact attention & our rental neighborhood is not ideal. She is loyal & highly intelligent our rehoming goal is for her to live that fullness.
