Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Mavi, a sleek young speedster who's ready to zoom off with your heart. She'd be the perfect partner for your hikes or jogs, and she's a social butterfly, so other doggies on the trail are welcome too! She's no slouch in the brains department either and catches on quick. Just wave a treat and watch her sit like a pro. She's totally house-trained, so no accidents to worry about. She's crated during the day and spends her nights on a cozy futon. Mavi is a sweet gentle soul, making friends with every pooch she meets. Although she has a playful nature, she might be too much for dogs who aren't interested in chase. Mavi is a people pleaser and loves everyone in the family. She's a car fanatic, eager to hop in and gazing out the windows. And, once the excitement is over, she'll take a nap in the back seat. They don't get anymore fun or mannerly than Miss Mavi!
Age: 2 years old
Weight: 45lb
Temperament: Good with dogs but not cats, and older sturdier kids due to her energy
Training: Crate-trained, house trained and knows commands
Vetting: Spayed, up to date on vaccines, HW negative

To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review.
Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself.
