My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Shiloh!

SHILOH is a black Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull mix, black in color and two years old. He currently weighs 54.8 lbs.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING FOR ANOTHER SHELTER. Shiloh is at the San Diego County Animal Shelter, North Campus, 2481 Palomar Airport Road, Carlsbad, CA 92011. The shelter is open for animal viewing Tue-Fri from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm and Sat-Sun from 10 am until 3:30 pm. You can also meet him by scheduling an appointment at (619)767-2675. Be sure to mention Shiloh's ID number: A1915725.

Shiloh is an All-American boy who can play nonstop with squeaky toys - what fun it is to watch him run around a shelter play yard with a squeaky toy in his mouth, looking so happy and proud of himself! Besides playing with toys, Shiloh loves to walk the shelter grounds with his handler, sniffing every bush and flower he passes. While with his handler, Shiloh always takes time to give and get affection. He also does his best to take care of his business during his walks to keep his kennel as tidy as possible.

Shiloh knows that the most essential things in life are toys, getting and giving love, and a tidy kennel, but he also realizes that manners count. He knows basic commands and is eager to learn more, especially if treats are part of each lesson. Speaking of treats, Shiloh takes them from his handler's hand very gently - just like a true gentleman!

You can meet Shiloh at the San Diego County Animal Shelter North Campus, 2481 Palomar Airport Road, Carlsbad, CA 92011. The shelter is open for animal viewing Tue-Fri from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm and Sat-Sun from 10 am until 3:30 pm. You can also meet him at other times by scheduling an appointment at (619)767-2675. Be sure to mention Shiloh's ID number, which is A1915725.
