Hello there, I'm Buck, a very sweet and gentle dog who is looking for a forever home where I can feel safe and loved. I may be a bit shy at first, but I warm up quickly, especially if there's a pupcup involved! It took a little convincing for me to get in the car, but I'm so glad I did because the nice lady took me for a delicious pupcup. I must say, it was absolutely yummy! We then went for a short walk, and it was so nice to smell the fresh grass and all the different scents in the air. I am friendly with other dogs and I am really hoping to find a loving family who can help me socialize and get used to nice people. All that's missing in my life is my forever home. We host adoption events on the 2nd Saturdays of the month at PetSmart in Rowlett from 12pm - 3pm. Petsmart is located at 5709 Liberty Grove Rd Rowlett, TX 75089.

Friends of Rowlett Animals (FRAs) is an all-volunteer 501 (c) (3) Texas organization founded in 2004. FRAs is working to improve communication between the City of Rowlett Animal Services and the community. By partnering with our local animal shelters, networking with animal rescue groups, utilizing community resources and social media, as well as conducting off site adoption events and fund raisers, we are able to help increase animal adoptions.
