Jewel is a beautiful tuxedo girl with a sleek shiny coat and a loving heart. Jake is a gray and white kitty with a tiny (adorable) white mustache. This sweet pair had a rough start in life, being abandoned with their siblings and trying to survive outside on their own. Luckily they happened onto the deck of a couple who began regularly feeding them and seeking a rescue place that could help find them a caring family. While both of them are very loving, Jake is the more cautious and watchful one but has a soft purr and loves pets (and treats). He often waits for Jewel and they obviously find comfort in each other. Jewel is a door greeter (once she feels acclimated) and loves attention, and can be, in fact, quite demanding. She will follow people around, rubbing and chirping to get love and pets. Food is very secondary to Jewel, who wants pets and attention first! Jake and Jewel snuggle with each other and often groom each other. Estimated to be around 2 years old, they are just learning what toys are but love cat trees, watching out windows, and supervising household activities. Both are healthy, fully vetted, and microchipped. They are still getting used to household noises and activities so should begin in a small, safe area and be given time to acclimate to family activities. Jewel must be adopted with her brother, Jake, but who wouldn't want double the love and fun? Fostered in Burke. We are open to offering a foster-to-adopt beginning for this special pair.
