My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fluffy Loverboy and Purrmachine

Nightowl is just a big ole floofy teddy bear with a permanently poofy tail and adorable hairy grinch feet. This boy LOVES love! You can pet him anywhere, anytime. He will roll over to show you his floofy belly and entice you to pet him there and even moosh your face into his fluff. All the while he will purr like a huge locomotive to tell you how happy he is!

He would generally prefer to lie next to you rather than on you, but he will let you scoop him up, hold him like a baby, and tell him what a good boy he is because he knows you're right!

NIghtowl has a feline foster roomie who dotes on him. He doesn't exactly return her affection, but he peacefully coexists with her. He's also aware of his foster's dog and doesn't seem bothered by him.

Nightowl gets along well with his foster's older kids. They are so sweet together!

Nightowl would LOVE a forever home with lots of sunny napping spots and kind people who will give him all the love he craves. We know he'll return your love tenfold!

Nightowl has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. He can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
