My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Samson was one of the 90+ dogs that were rescued from deplorable conditions on New Year's Eve. This amazing boy has gone through unimaginable things, and you would never know it with how happy he is. Samson has never been in a typical household that we know of, so he is going to need training and most importantly patience. He is a very smart boy and learns quickly.
Mr. Samson loves ripping up his stuffies and making it look like a blizzard in his kennel. He is very playful and loves to play with tug toys and catch balls. He is a big love bug that doesn't realize just how big he is and for that reason we recommend "sturdy" children ages 10 and up. Samson is pretty good on leash but is very strong. Some additional training will be helpful with this.
Samson has what we call "kennel stress" meaning when he is in the kennel, he acts much different than out, for this reason we recommend meeting him outside in one of the runs to really understand his personality.
Samsons ideal home would be with strong and experienced owners who will be patient with him as he figures out how to be a home since he spent most of his life in a cage.
If you think Samson would be a great addition to your household, please apply or call for more information.

Additional adoption info

We try to have a thorough process that ensures animals are placed in loving homes that are capable of caring for the animal. We have an application that requires references and we interview both the references and the applicants, before we place a pet.
