My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Buster

Buster arrived with several other dogs whose owner could no longer care for them. He's an Australian Cattle Dog mix with a stumpy tail. He weighs about 50 pounds, and is just a sponge for affection and attention. He's very smart and eager to learn, having been pretty neglected in his prior life. He's working hard on manners, already has mastered sit, and is practicing down and shake. He'd love to add to his repertoire with whatever you'd like to teach him!

Staff describes Buster as a happy 5 year old boy coming home from kindergarten and wanting to tell you about his day. Very friendly and wants company. He will want to jump up on you, but can be redirected. Always wiggling that stumpy little tail.

He is housetrained and has lived with cats in his former home.

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Buster is a suggested minimum of $125 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
