Introducing Coffman. This handsome Catahoula mix boy arrived at the shelter as a stray, and was never claimed. His estimated date of birth is 8/1/2022.
He has a very loving nature, adores all the people he meets, gets along with the other dogs at the shelter, and is enthusiastic about treats so will hopefully train fairly quickly.
Coffman is house trained, though this young guy does sometimes dribble a little urine when he gets excited or nervous (common in dogs under 2, and improving daily).
Coffman is not much for a car ride. He gets sick every time so if you're looking for a car ride buddy we wouldn't recommend Coffman. If you're looking for a walking/hiking/jogging partner, or a dog to play fetch in the yard or lay on the couch and watch your favorite streaming app, Coffie ( as we lovingly call him), is the guy for you.
Are you up for the challenge of being Coffman's teacher and mentor? Once he is polished up a bit, this gem is going to SHINE.
All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Coffman is a suggested minimum of $125 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.
Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
