My name is Jemma!

Wow, it's absolutely amazing that an incredible gentle giant like Jemma could even end up in a shelter. She was clearly in a home where she was loved. She showed behaviors that indicated she was comfortable around all kinds of people, kids, and other animals, she has the most trusting and loving gentle nature. She sadly ended up in the shelter and was underweight with what they believed to be mammary masses, turns out she recently had pups and had mastitis that caused inflamed and infected mammary ducts and tissue.

Jemma is on the mend, she has been spayed, is gaining weight, and enjoying the good life in her foster home with friends. We are looking for a family with Dane experience who understands the size and needs of the breed. Although the shelter said she was about 5 or 6 we believe she is quite a bit younger, maybe 3-4 yrs old instead. We can't say enough about this incredible girl!
