My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet, sweet little miss Loki is looking for a forever home. Last summer, she and her siblings were found as kittens without a mother, abandoned in a parking lot. They were hand-raised bottle-babies, handled and snuggled constantly, and their foster mommy fell in love with Loki and formally adopted her! Sadly, their mommy very recently received devastating medical news, and sweet Loki now needs a new home. We are heartbroken for their mommy and for Loki and we've promised to find her a WONDERFUL family who can continue to love her deeply.

Still under a year old, Loki is a young lady still learning about her world. Loki is hesitant in new situations, and may growl or even hiss a little at first, but it's only because she's nervous, and is asking you to be patient with her. When you reach out your fingers slowly, she immediately leans into them to get chin scratches and ear rubs. Once she's a little more comfortable, she'll rub up against your legs, leaning in and wrapping her pretty tail around you as she stays close. She loves to play with her stuffed animals and toys.... ball track toys are especially fun! She's a sweet girl, and is very enthusiastic about spending time with her people... she wants to be wherever YOU are! In her prior home, she was around kids and dogs, and did just fine with them as long as there were proper introductions first.

Loki has been around siblings her entire life, and we would love to see her go to a home where she will have at least one kitty sibling to love on and play with. If you are looking to adopt a kitty, please consider taking in a pair at the same time! Kitties do well with other kitties as they are able to keep each other company, play together, and grow together.

Loki's adoption fee includes her spay, initial rabies shot, applicable birth-to-one-year FVRCP/FeLeuk vaccinations, and microchip.

To apply to adopt, please complete an adoption inquiry at www.bluesmews.org so our adoption specialist volunteer can review it and contact you!
