Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Curious and sweet Hades is looking for a forever home. Last summer, he and his siblings were found as kittens without a mother, abandoned in a parking lot. They were hand-raised bottle-babies, handled and snuggled constantly, and their foster mommy fell in love with Hades and his sister Loki and formally adopted them both, while the rest of the litter was able to find new forever homes. Sadly, their mommy very recently received devestating medical news, and sweet Loki and Hades now need a new home. We are heartbroken for their mommy and for Hades and Loki, and we've promised to find them a WONDERFUL family who can continue to love them deeply.
Still under a year old, Hades is an older kitten, still very curious about his surroundings. He is outgoing and friendly, and will be quick to greet you and ask for love. You'd better be ready for a lap cat with this one, because ready or not, he's going to make himself comfortable!! He loves leaning in for even more scratches and love. He can sometimes gets a little carried away when he asks for more love, and may nibble your hand if you aren't responding with more scratches as quickly as he'd like, so we recommend a household with only older kids or adults who will understand when he asks for attention and will be patient if he nips... He's saying he loves you, and wants you to love him, too! Hades loves to play, and really appreciates a good scratcher toy so he can stretch his paws out like a good boy. Ball toys are fun to chase around, too! In his prior home, Hades was around kids and dogs, and did just fine with them as long as there were proper introductions first.
Although Hades and Loki are not a bonded pair, they are siblings who have been together their entire lives, they get along extremely well, and we would love to see them stay together if at all possible. If you are looking to adopt a kitty, please consider taking in a pair at the same time. Kitties do well with other kitties as they are able to keep each other company, play together, and grow together.
Hades' adoption fee includes his neuter, initial rabies shot, applicable birth-to-one-year FVRCP/FeLeuk vaccinations, and microchip.
