Here's what the humans have to say about me:
A little about Vivi and Leona. These two almost 4-year-old sisters are truly besties. They love to sleep together, cuddle, and sit beside each other. They are both house-trained. We are working with them to signal when they need to go outside, but they are quick to do their business and yes, they follow each other to where they go. Leona is VERY energetic and puppy-like. She is learning new commands when jumping to much and sitting when prepping her harness. She is treat motivated. She does enjoy rolling around and talking to herself. She eats fast, so trying to slow that down and prefers a raised bowl, as she has had a few spit ups after eating. She is good with other dogs and people. She loves being pet and lots of belly rubs. She is protective of Vivi and will whine if she is out of sight or to far away for longer periods of time. Vivi is more gentle, quieter and fluffy. She loves to cuddle and be pet regularly. She is treat motivated and good on a harness. She has some skin sensitivties and allergies. Needs attention to what she is eating and watching her paws and under her legs for itching and redness. She loves to get Leona going and they play very well together. She can be a little instigator at times, waking up Leona. They both listen to basic commands, more training needed in excited moments. Food allergies for Vivi will be a constant issue to watch and care for. Leona has a little spot of redness, but the vet believes that can be corrected with the right food. They sleep well, and there are no accidents at night. They both truly think they are lap dogs and love to lick your face, a lot. They girls are a bonded pair and will need to be adopted together when they are ready.
If you are interested in Vivi and Leona please visit our website: www.ilenglishbulldogrescue.org, and read through our adoption criteria to see if you meet our requirements. If you do, please fill out an application to adopt.
Vivi and Leona's adoption fee is: $1,000.00

More about this rescue
IEBR was formed in 2009 to find homes for purebred English Bulldogs. IEBR rescues dogs from shelters and puppymills and accepts dogs from owners who for any reason can no longer provide a home for their bully.
The bulldogs that come through our rescue program are seldom in “perfect” condition in terms of health, temperament or both; however with a little love, medical attention and time, rescued English Bulldogs dogs make great companions.
IEBR does not find dogs for people – our mission is to find great people for wonderful dogs.
