My name is Bessie!

This sweet girl is looking for the perfect forever home! Miss Bessie is the mama to the cow litter (Angus, Babe, Elsie, and Jersey) and was brought into 405’s care after protecting her babies on the streets, and she is just about the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet!! She has the most adorable spots and gorgeous caramel eyes and lots of love to give in her little body! Bess can be a bit of a shy, quiet girl and takes some time to learn to trust, but as soon as she does, you’ll see how incredibly loving and goofy she is! This little girl has a huge heart and is just looking for a safe place to call her own where she can feel safe to be herself and let her goofiness out! As her personality has started to shine in her foster home, it is clear she absolutely loves to play and prance in the yard, loves chin scratches, has a blast throwing around toys and is a HUGE fan of naps on a comfy, warm dog bed! 

Bessie has near-perfect manners, she is crate trained (she can free roam, but a crate is definitely her happy place!), potty trained, doesn’t chew on things she isn’t supposed to (but she LOVES to chew on a good dog toy!!!) and she is a quiet girl. She is working to learn leash training and her basic commands, and learning how wonderful cuddles are! As she gets more comfortable in her foster home, she is learning how to play with her foster siblings as well! She is very much dog friendly, but just needs some time to learn that she is safe with other pups. This little girl has a heart of gold and is hoping you will be the family to give her the life she deserves!
