We do not allow shipping & do not transport. You must live within 350 miles from Maryville, IL & able to drive for a meet and greet. We are a 100% foster-based rescue. Applications can be found on our website.
Benny really loves everyone he meets & thinks that every greeting has the potential to be a new friend! He is a very sweet little guy.
Benny is pretty good at leash walking! We won't require a fenced yard, but we will ask the adopting family to agree to use a harness while walking Benny. Harnesses have proven to be much safer & better on their necks & throats. If you do have a fence, it will need to be very very secure because Benny is a little bitty guy.
Benny enjoys the company of his foster brothers and sisters. He enjoys playing & being a dog. We do not recommend a family that has older dogs or dogs that aren't playful. Benny would be an aggravation to older dogs & he would be disappointed if they did not want to play.
Benny has shown that he is reliable in potty training. He loves to be praised for his good behavior. That being said, please know that a change in environment may result in a learning curve. Benny needs to be provided with ample opportunity to be successful in learning the potty routine in his new home.
