Meet Chloe!! This sweet girl came into the shelter in Texas with entropion. You ask what is? It's where here eyelids were tucked into her eyes and her eye lashes were rubbing against her eyes. Well, she had the surgery to take care of this and she is all good to go now!!!
Chloe is one sweet girl who loves to play with everyone!!!! Chloe enjoys life and cannot wait to enjoy it with her new family or best friend!! Chloe enjoys playing with her squeaky toys while running around and throwing them in the air. She is a such a goofball. Chloe is one smart girl who cannot wait to learn some commands with her family. We would recommend as she still is young to go to basic obedience classes. This will help her excel in her commands and bonding time with you. Chloe would love to go on hikes or run around the fenced backyard with her doggie friends. She is always wagging her tail and has a smile on her face. Chloe cannot wait to have a couch to snuggle up next to you by the fire while watching the super bowl and maybe even cheering on her favorite pup in the puppy bowl!!
Don't miss out on the sweetheart. Chloe has so much love to give you!!! Let's find her the forever home she deserves!!! She cannot wait to meet you, so apply for her today!!!

All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.
VETTING NOTE: Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment.

More about this rescue
Fetching Hearts Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)(3), volunteer run rescue that is dedicated to saving dogs who have been abused, neglected or abandoned and finding loving, caring homes for them.
We rely on a network of foster families so that each dog that we pull into the safety of our rescue is placed in a foster home and is no longer confined to a life in a kennel.
We are committed to helping dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes by partnering with shelters and animal control services right here in Connecticut as well as with several high kill shelters in the South.
We do a full assessment of each dog's temperament and health to ensure that we are able to find the most suitable home for them. Every dog is fully vetted - meaning they are up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and micro chipped - before being adopted.
The ASPCA estimates that approximately 3.3 million dogs in the United States enter shelters each year, of which approximately 670,000 are euthanized*. Our goal is to advocate for and provide education about the need for spaying and neutering to eliminate what has become an epidemic of unwanted dogs.*
