Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Hailey! This captivating 9 year old Black Mouth Cur mix, is an absolute breath of fresh spring air. She is the most gentle and well mannered girl, who knows how to sit, and is even potty trained. We believe she would make the best family dog, especially with a family with kids as she is gentle with all interactions. She is dog friendly, but if you have another furry friend at home we do offer meet and greets. Where you can bring your dog in to meet her, and see how they would get along before adopting. Hailey is up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped, spayed, and Heartworm negative. She is a one of a kind flower in a bunch, and is actively seeking her forever home. So, spring into love and come meet her today!!!

HSSM is home to over 300 pets on any given day, most of which are looking for new forever homes! Your new best friend could be waiting at HSSM right now. Our beautiful, 41,000 square foot facility is currently open to the public. HSSM is open for adoptions Tuesday – Friday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. No appointment is necessary to adopt, however, adoptions are first-come, first served. You must come to HSSM to complete your adoption and make sure you bring a photo ID, as it is required to complete adoption paperwork.
Our adoptable animals page is self-updating and displays ALL of HSSM’s adorable adoptable pets from “pocket pets” to birds and of course the hundreds of dogs and cats currently calling HSSM home! See one you like? Make sure you note your favorite’s name and animal ID number so that HSSM staff and volunteers can easily find him/her when you come in!
Adoptions are cut off every day about 30 minutes prior to closing and possibly earlier if volume is high. Weekends are busy and you may have to wait more than an hour (especially in the afternoons) so please be prepared.
