Hello hello, my name is Midas, and boy have I got the touch! I am a sprightly five year old guy with a zest for life, squeaky toys and my blankie. I absolutely ADORE the small humans and can play with them for hours; sometimes they climb aboard my blankie and I drag it all over the house. We have lots of adventures together!
When it comes to meeting new dogs, I like my space until I can get to know them a bit better. Once I have sussed them out a bit, I am ready to play! I am a little cautious when I go somewhere new so it may take me a few days to adjust. People are really my most favorite - the small ones especially! I really love to play tug of war and hide and seek.
When it comes to learning new things, all you need to show me is a toy and I am totally engaged. I am very good at “sit” and “paw” and am eager to learn lots of commands soon. I enjoy a good walk and sniff with a few ball throws tossed in there - see what I did there?!
My most favorite thing in the world is a game of tug-of-war - I can go for hours especially if there is a small human on the other end of my rope. Between my blankie and some rope toys, I am everyone’s dream pal! When I am not actively engaged in those two things, I am as cool as a cucumber and can lounge around wherever.
I am looking for a fun family with kiddos who will play with me, a lot of rope toys and balls and a place to keep my blankie safe. My snuggly side will need some cuddles and in turn, I will be the best dog you have ever had.
