Here's what the humans have to say about me:
** Grace Kelly is currently in a foster home! She is available for adoption. Email applications@chicagocaninerescue.org to set up a meet + greet! **
Are you looking for a classic beauty? Grace Kelly might just sweep you off your feet! Grace is an active, curious, loving gal who loves to explore and then come back for snuggles. She's a lean, athletic lady who would love to go for long walks, runs, or hikes, and then settle in for cozy time at home. She could be the Princess of your home!
Gracie is a lovely girl. She loves long walks (or jogs), paw massages, and relaxing. Most of the day she can be found laying about the house. She has quite good obedience and is house trained, crate trained, and generally quite easy.
Grace is crate trained! When you leave for the day, she does best if kenneled with a snack to help keep her busy. She also does seem to prefer being the only dog at home, but she has made some dog friends with slow introductions!
Gracie is a 5 year old Husky mix who is incredibly sweet and smart. She came to CCR from a rescue in Arkansas. Truly, she is so lucky for the chance to find the perfect home here in Chicago. Is she your gal? Let us know!

More about this shelter
CCRF was founded in 2001 to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city. In just over seven years, CCRF has saved the lives of over 2,000 dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.
CCRF now assists the animals that are the MOST vulnerable in Midwest - the dogs and cats that are slated for euthanasia because they are too old, too young, injured, have disabilities, or have simply been overlooked for too long by potential adopters at other shelters.
