Piccolo is bonded with Chicklet, they will need to be adopted together.
Chicklet is bonded with Piccolo, they will need to be adopted together.
Piccolo and Chicklet were both strays when taken in by their foster family. Neutering and release was the goal, but they were both too people-friendly to send out on their own. They have now lived together for one year. They share a large apartment, enjoy some rough n tumble play together, love to chase their automatic laser toy, play in cardboard boxes, balls with bells, toy springs, and catnip toys (only indestructible toys allowed!). They long for more human companionship, but are quite self-sufficient when the humans have long days at work. These boys complement each other well. Piccolo is outgoing. Chicklet is shy but feels safe when Piccolo feels safe. Piccolo has a tendency to overeat, and was intimidating to other cats, but never with Chicklet. They will scratch where they are shown is okay. They love to play, but toys must be items Piccolo cannot eat! They share a litter box and have never had an accident outside the box! A second litter box sits there unused. We don't think they have been around children, but a high-energy play environment could be fun, if their solitude is respected when they are done playing. Unknown interaction with dogs. Piccolo can be play/food aggressive with cats other than Chicklet. No aggression toward humans, ever! They enjoy attention, and you can really hear their motors run during brushing, petting, or treat time!
