My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Odessa is a charming furry friend. She is a Domestic Shorthair mix with a beautiful brown tabby striped coat and a heart as warm as the coziest cuddle spot. We don't know what life was like before finding us. She came into our care after being abandoned in a carrier at a suburban pet store.

Odessa has the cutest chirp when she wants to get your attention. Her tail is shorter than normal, which may be from birth or from an accident. In any case, it doesn't bother her at all and just gives her more character.

She is friendly, and once comfortable, she will cuddle on your lap, accepts lots of pets and purr lovingly.

Odessa will stare at you with the best puppy dog eyes until you pet her (she does the same thing for food) and let me tell you she is very persistent, impossible to resist that face! She passionately loves to play with feather wands. Some might mistake her for a ninja as she plans her pounce on the feather. She would be perfect as a single cat or in a home with other cats or even a dog.

Don't wait, pounce on the chance to adopt her today!!

Odessa is fixed, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, FIV/FELV negative, and microchipped. She is currently being cared for by our rescue, but would like you to make her a part of your family today! The adoption fee of $100 will benefit other CPR rescue animals.

More about this rescue

CPR is a foster/volunteer based rescue, with a 501c(3) non-profit status, dedicated to rescuing stray and abandoned animals. We do not have a central "shelter" as all of our animals are placed in foster homes until forever homes can be found. Our goal is to rescue as many animals as we can safely manage thru foster homes. We rescue dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, birds and other small animals.
