My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Molly is an adorable 1 yr old, 11lb TFT or Rat Terrier mix. She was surrendered to a local shelter with other dogs. She was terrified in the shelter environment, so we didn’t hesitate to pull her. Molly is a sweet goofy girl, a definite lap dog and does expect full furniture privileges. She LOVES to play with other similar sized energetic dogs. She is looking for a home with another small dog and will not be placed as an only dog! Older dogs may not appreciate her enthusiasm. She is fine with cats and even tries to get them to play. Once she gets to know you, she is the biggest sweetheart, but as she is timid with new people, older or no kids would be best. Molly is seeking a home with a SECURELY fenced yard as she is super smart and has discovered she can fit through even the smallest of gaps. Molly is a lover; she wants to snuggle and give kisses. If you do not like dog kisses, then Molly is not the dog for you! Molly is crate trained and working on her housetraining. She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, HW tested negative and on prevention.

More about this rescue

We are a network of foster homes of people who provide temporary foster care primarily for Cherokee County's strays and displaced animals while they await their forever homes. Our primary foster homes are approved fosters for Cherokee County Humane Society. In addition, we list animals for other licensed rescues. Many of our rescued pets come from shelters, but we also take them in directly from owners when we have room. This allows us to lessen the burden on the shelters. We also help independent rescuers place their rescued pets. Lastly, we also provide postings for owners needing assistance in rehoming their own pets
