My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Jasmine. We believe she is a Husky mix and 1year old. Jasmine is incredibly smart, loving and easy to train. She knows basic commands like: sit, lay down, and shake. She is very treat motivated, focused, and eager to please. Jasmine is a very sweet, usually quite docile pup. She loves to roll over and have her belly rubbed. Fully house trained. She has one brown eye and one blue - she is always being complemented on her striking beauty. Jasmine loves going on walks. She does great on car rides and she loves to play fetch. She is not a big barker, but she will alert you if she sees a person near the house. She likes to be active and play, but almost just as much, she loves her sleep! She would make a wonderful companion for just about anyone. She is almost perfect!

Jasmine's foster has two boys (5 & 7) who play with her, hug and love on her, etc. She has been great with two young boys.

Thank you for adopting and not buying!!! Every week hundreds of highly adoptabledogs are put to death by local shelters. Most people would be amazed at the purebred and beautiful dogs available, if they walked into their neighborhood shelter.

Rescue organizations, like mine, work hard to save as many as we possibly can but is a never ending process with breeders and Puppy Mills selling unhealthy animals to the public. If you EVER saw a puppy mill you would NEVER buy again!

All of my dogs are neutered or spayed, vet checked, completely vaccinated, wormed, groomed and checked for heart worms. They are all are current on Heart worm medicine, flea, and tick medications. They are all microchipped as well.

Adoption fee is $300 to $350 (older "friends' can be less, please inquire. Puppies are $350 - Besides fully vetting all dogs, some of of the dogs I rescue, 1 in 5 I rescue have heart worms which is very expensive to treat. I also take in dogs who need surgeries and are close to death.

More about this rescue

About us: Cody was the first pet I owned as an adult. He was a Shih Tzu that I bought unknowingly, from a Puppy Mill. He fought for his life and barely survived, suffering for the first few months of his life. From then on I was stirred by a ferocious passion to save as many dogs as I could through networking with other rescue groups and saving the ones I could off of cold streets and unwanted in shelters. Cody did not live a very long life due to a weakened body, but I was able to love on him for eight good years! He will always be loved and forever remembered. With over 400 dogs rescued so far, we ARE making a difference!!
