My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tina (golden eyed female), Gene (yoda eared male), Louise (beautiful dark brindle), and Linda Belcher (sweet sandy brindle) are 8-12 month old pups that have spent most of their lives outside They were going to either freeze to death in the cold with no shelter, or be "taken care of
We couldn't let their lives end there but again we are FULL Shelters are FULL We need FOSTERS now more than ever This winter is brutal and these dogs deserve to never feel that cold again
HELP us help them by opening your home if you can-Each of these dogs is incredibly:
SHY! They have likely not been around tons of people but will timidly approach for pets and then melt into them
SWEET!
DOG FRIENDLY!
DESERVING!
Tina, Louise, and Gene seem to like their crates, Linda would rather be free, but will also go in hers willingly
While they are likely not potty trained, having a confident dog in the house to show them the ropes will help them catch on quickly and continue to show them us hoomans aren't so bad

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is just like most. Our fees range from $235 to $175 depending on age of the pets. We required a home visit and meet and greet with every family and have a foster to adopt trial period before adopting out our pets. All our pets are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchips and heartworm tested and have a clean bill of health. We do keep our adoptions local due to the fact that we require home visits for the security of all involved.

Go meet their pets

We have all our pets available for adoption in the St Louis region, we frequently have fundraisers and adoption events all around St Louis, we always have our pets listed on social media and other adoption websites as well. Visit us on our website straypawsrescue.com or see us on Facebook Stray Paws Rescue.

More about this rescue

We are a 501c3 licensed non profit organization in St Louis, Missouri. We are foster based and have a passion for helping the animals who have been dumped and abandoned in St Louis city. We also work hard to help save those in high kill shelters that are scheduled to be euthanized. We believe in that all pets deserve a second chance and that there is a home for everyone.
