Colleen is a beautiful long haired, petite girl that came to us as a stray. Colleen had found her way into a kind woman's garage and that woman cared for Colleen until she was able to bring her to our shelter. Colleen arrived to arc just in time! When she arrived staff quickly realized there was a problem. Colleen's belly was large. Colleen was rushed to the vet for immediate spay where it was found that she was suffering from a condition called pyometra. Pyometra is an infection of the uterus that if left untreated is deadly. Colleen had life saving spay surgery and is on the road to recovery. Colleen has been through a lot in a short time so she can be a bit shy and scared. But once she warms up to you she's a total sweetheart that loves to be pet and given attention.
Colleen is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots and tested negative for felv and fiv. To adopt, please go to our website nokillarc.org and fill out our adoption preapproval form located at the bottom of the "adoptable cats" tab. Once we receive your form we will email you to proceed with the adoption process.
