Meet Maxwell! With his affectionate personality, he is eagerly waiting at the shelter for a family to call his own. Maxwell is an attentive student when it comes to commands. He has mastered `sit` and approaches learning new tricks with a gentle eagerness, especially when treats are involved. What Maxwell desires most is a forever home where he can fully express his loving personality and become a cherished member of a family.

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs....great!! The first step is coming in and meeting the dog in person. If you have any small children or other dogs in the household we do recommend that you bring them in for an introduction. If you are interested we would have you complete an adoption application. We do not require fenced in yards. All dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested and fully vaccinated, and the adoption fee is $125 which also includes a current dog license for Lucas County. We do adopt out of state and to other counties, but the dog would need to leave our facility with a current license. We do hold adoption events and have reduced adoption fees for specials throughout the year. Please check out our FaceBook page for events.
