My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Celery`s personality is as delightful as his name suggests. He`s a very sweet boy, capturing the hearts of everyone he meets with his gentle demeanor and affectionate ways. Celery`s presence is like a breath of fresh air, bringing calm and happiness wherever he goes.
This sweet boy is highly motivated by treats, which makes training sessions both fun and rewarding. Celery`s eyes light up at the prospect of a treat, and he`s always eager to show off his best behavior for a tasty reward.
Celery walks well on the leash, making him a perfect companion for those peaceful morning walks or adventurous evening strolls.
Contact our shelter today to learn more about this very sweet boy or to arrange a visit. Discover the joy of Celery`s companionship and let him show you how much love and happiness he can bring to your home.

Additional adoption info

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs....great!! The first step is coming in and meeting the dog in person. If you have any small children or other dogs in the household we do recommend that you bring them in for an introduction. If you are interested we would have you complete an adoption application. We do not require fenced in yards. All dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested and fully vaccinated, and the adoption fee is $125 which also includes a current dog license for Lucas County. We do adopt out of state and to other counties, but the dog would need to leave our facility with a current license. We do hold adoption events and have reduced adoption fees for specials throughout the year. Please check out our FaceBook page for events.
