My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm in a FOSTER HOME! If you want to meet me, you can start the process by emailing my foster parent at carolchapman@yahoo.com to set up a time to meet me.

Want to be friends? Nyle does! This playful, cuddly young boy wants to be friends with every human and dog he meets! His favorite thing is romping around the yard roughhousing with another pup. If you wear him out a bit, he'll sleep the day away on the couch, laying on his back with his paws in the air. He's a lap-lander, always wanting a hug and a snuggle from his humans. Nyle is housetrained and knows the basics of crate training, but his foster parents usually leave him out when they're gone (after a walk) and he's done fine.

Nyle is Mr. Personality: Falls off the couch at least once a day, manages to miss the fire hydrant when he pees, and is quite the squirrel chaser. He wants to be in the middle of everything. Nyle is a vegetarian at heart - his favorite treats include coconut, peanut butter and yogurt. He's the opposite of a resource guarder, actually preferring to be pet while he eats.

Nyle clearly had no idea how to play with toys when he arrived, but he quickly learned how much fun he can have tossing and chewing his favorite stuffed duck and dinosaur. Nyle wants to be a good boy. He wants you to be happy with him - he's always chasing the next "Good Boy!" and will try to earn it.

If there is a cliché to describe Nyle, it's, "Boys will be boys!" All boy, all the time, but still a little bit of a diva, hiding his face under the pillows when the alarm goes off in the morning. Nyle fun fact: He has a pentagon shaped patch of fur on his head. He's nicknamed "Major Nyle" in case any Pentagon workers are looking for a pup!
