My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Naya, the epitome of sweetness packaged in a furry form! This delightful pup is on the lookout for her forever home, where she can shower her new family with all the love she has to offer. Naya is a loyal companion who thrives on one-on-one attention and cherishes every moment spent with her human. With her gentle demeanor and affectionate nature, she's sure to melt your heart instantly. Naya's ideal home would be one where she can be the center of attention, as she prefers to be the only dog, soaking up all the cuddles and affection. If you're ready to welcome a devoted companion into your life, Naya is eagerly waiting to become your new best friend!

More about this shelter

The Aberdeen Area Humane Society serves the northern South Dakota and southern North Dakota area. We are here in the interests of animal welfare. We place homeless animals into good homes as well as rescue animals from abusive situations. We have a shelter facility just southwest of Aberdeen and house many animals while we try to find them good homes. We are a non-profit organization and are funded by memberships, donations, fundraisers and adoptions.

If you suspect an animal is being mistreated and/or abused, contact us. We will investigate or refer to the appropriate agency. Your call can be kept confidential and we will handle the rest.
