At around 9 years old, Warthog might be considered an old soul to some. Sometimes, his actions could make you believe he's a lot younger. He has his active times and his lazy times. He can be dog-selective. He does very well with cats as he is usually the dog we'll dog-test cats with. He will try to get your attention by sitting at the front of his kennel with a slow, calm bark until you come closer. Warthog came from a sad background, but despite all that he can still put his faith in the people he knows will help him and treat him good! He might be a little shy while taking some time to warm up to new people, but once he does, he'll steal your heart. He loves to play a good game of tug-o-war with anyone willing to play back. He presents himself much better outside of the kennels with more free open space to play and run.
