My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Morrie and I'm a handsome, happy guy who plays with everyone! I toss toys in the air and hop around when the resident dog doesn’t want to play.

I love kids and get my happy dance going when I see them. I also like laying beside my foster mom when she rubs my head/tummy; head rubs are the best!

I sleep through the night on a bed by my foster parents without a peep. I dance with glee for my food, it’s my favorite time of the day and my foster parents love to watch the dance I'm doing for that meal, they think it's so darn cute so I change it up for them!
I love walking anywhere and get excited when I see the leash as I know we’re going for a walk.
I went out on a boat ride and boy that was fun! I love playing outside with other dogs. I do my business outside.

I am eager to please. I am usually a quiet boy.

Give me a little time and I will fully open up, I get more confident as I get more experiences. I have gone on weekends away when my regular fosters are gone and the temp fosters love me!

Enough about me, thank you for looking, fill out an application and let's see if we're a match! See you! Morrie

All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.

Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

More about this rescue

The mission of Warrior Dog Rescue is to save the dogs that are homeless, left abandoned in shelters, are surrendered by their owners, those that are being abused and neglected, and those that are left wandering. We are committed to providing them the medical care they need, helping them to overcome their past by providing them loving, educated foster homes, finding them their perfect forever home by means of a thorough adoption process, and guiding them on their journey into their new life. They all deserve a “good dog life… every single one of them.”

Warrior Dog Rescue will be a model rescue by partnering with overcrowded shelters that need to make room for more abandoned dogs. We will continue to educate others about responsible dog ownership in regards to safety, spay/neuter, nutrition, obedience, socializing, abuse, and neglect. We acknowledge that we will have a role in this industry to take the lead on providing awareness to others in the community and across the country. Every dog will know what it feels like to be loved till the end of their life.
