My name is Ethel!

Sweet Ethel has been shuffled around in her first two years of life. She and her sister Lucy found themselves in the shelter, very young and scared. A nice older couple adopted them together and gave them a home for a year until they were no longer able to care for them so they came to CARE Rescue. This is where we hope their luck has changed. Both girls had the opportunity to go to our STAR Inmate Training Program where they are learning basic obedience and socialization which they didn't get much of with the older couple. Ethel is doing great with her training! She is a little shy and reserved at first but she is gaining confidence every day! She will be graduating at the end of April and we are hoping that she will have someone waiting to meet her and possibly bring her into their family! She is good with other dogs, house and crate trained! Ethel is 1-1/2 yrs old and we think a greyhound/catahoula leopard dog mix! She is really gorgeous!
