Rocco - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life!
Rocco, a strong handsome name of Italian origin commonly associated with being a lady's man. Oh for sure, that's me!! The name Rocco also has many meanings. It means "battle cry" but well the only crying I might be doing is when you stop petting me. It also means "to rest" which I'll be more then happy to do snuggled up with you. A pizzeria liked my name so much they named it after me and It is a character in the famous movie The Godfather. Wow, I have a pretty interesting and amazing name but It suits me with my handsome good looks and shiny coat!
I LOVE my daily walks with the other ranch dogs...and we love playing in water!! Foster Mum walks us off leash for 2 miles a day and I have amazing recall...I always come running back when she calls!
Playing with the other pups is also one of my favorite pass times! I get along with everyone, from the talls to the smalls, even those pesky little chihuahua ones!!!
Foster Mum claims that I am one of the best behaved puppy that she has ever fostered. My temperament is gentle and kind and am relatively quiet (most of the time). We are working diligently on the trick "no jump" and mostly sit patiently waiting to get petted or a treat. And I is smart!! I have learned how to exit our yard, navigate doors, go into the crate and x pen, and try to "take my business outside".
I am calm but friendly by nature and am a medium energy dog. At 6 months old, I am currently weighing in at 38 pounds, I will most likely not get much bigger and will stay around the 40ish pound area. The perfect mediumish size dog for action packed adventures...and snuggling!!
