Sugar and Spice and everything nice! Spice and her sister Sugar were rescued from a pretty sad living situation. They are around 30 pounds and roughly one year old. Both sisters love attention from their human friends and also love other dogs. They are bonded and would love a home together, but can be adopted separately. Spice is tan with white and black markings. She's submissive, but does have a "spicy attitude and will let you know what she thinks about it! Overall, she has a very calm and relaxed demeanor especially when she knows she is in a safe place/at home. She does well with potty training, but is still working on leash training. She is very gentle and loving with a little side of sass! Spice would make a great pet for almost any home. She is ready to be adopted and can travel to her adoptive home now!
If you're interested in welcoming me or any of my delightful Funny Farm companions into your home, kindly visit ffpets.org. There, you can find information about our Tennessee-based rescue, and gain insights into the adoption process!
The adoption fee is $325, with an additional $200 required for transportation.
Please note that at the moment, this adorable pet is in the care of a foster home in Tennessee but will be lovingly transported to your location once the adoption process is successfully completed. For details on meeting locations and transport arrangements, simply click on the "Transport" tab at ffpets.org. We strongly encourage you to thoroughly review all transport-related information before submitting your adoption application.

Additional adoption info
To adopt a pet from FFRR you must be at least 21 and submit an adoption application We contact references listed on your application. If you rent or live with another person, we must speak to your landlord or roomate to confirm that you have permission to have the pet you are applying for. We may also need to conduct a home visit to make sure the accommodations for the pet you are interested in are suitable. We do not allow any adopted pets to live on chains or any other tethering devices. Once approved you must complete a contract and pay the adoption fee. The majority of the pets are in TN and we only list them in the northern states at the transport meeting locations due to the low volume of dogs in the northern states

There is NOT a shelter to visit the pets.
Once your application is approved you will be put in contact with the foster parent to make sure it is a perfect match for both you and the pet. Most of these pets are still in foster homes in TN and will not travel north until their adoptions are finalized.

More about this rescue
Funny Farm Rescue Ranch is a non-profit, 501c3, all volunteer agency chartered by the State of TN. We take in pets that are unwanted, abandoned, abused, neglected, homeless or otherwise in need. We are not a shelter and do not have a shelter in NJ or any other northern state. Each of our pets is in a home with a volunteer foster parent and only leaves the foster home in TN to go to their "forever" home once they are fully vetted. Our goal is to reduce the pet overpopulation problem through spay/neuter, adoption and education.
