Meet lovely Indie! She was born around mid-September and was found in the wild with her mom and 5 siblings at about 8 weeks old. She was taken into a foster home in mid-November and has been blossoming since!

Indie is likely a German Shepard mix who will grow into a larger (50+ pounds) dog. She was approximately 23-24 pounds at 13 weeks of age. She will need an active family, a home with a yard and someone who is interested in keeping her brain and body engaged. She has a mild temperament and is very curious about her environment. Indie loves to play with toys and the other dogs in her foster home. She can be cautious and looks to other dogs for reassurance so will need a playful adult dog as part of her forever family. She enjoys going for walks in her neighborhood and is learning to comfortably walk on a leash. It is a new skill for her and she sometimes sits down when she's uncertain about her surroundings. With a little coaxing, she's back on her feet and ready to explore! She's been great with house training and is usually quick to do her business when taken outside. She may bark if another dog near her does, but she rarely barks on her own. She happily sleeps through the night in her crate and sometimes puts herself in her crate for daytime naps but is just as likely to flop on the floor for a nap. Indie is a playful and fun-loving puppy who will make a wonderful companion for someone who can give her the attention, training, patience and love she deserves.

She is a larger puppy and does not know her own size so needs a household with children aged 10+, if any children. She has had limited exposure to cats and shown minimal interest in them.

Indy will be vaccinated and chipped. She will be spayed closer to one year of age, which is covered by her adoption fee. Her adoption fee is $495
