Here's what the humans have to say about me:
PLEASE NOTE- AN APPLICATION FROM THE WEBSITE ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG IS REQUIRED prior to any meet and greet. Calling, emailing and using the “contact us” link is not useful and will delay your consideration in the adoption of the dog. Petfinder inquires are not sent to us.
Hi there! My name is Azalea-what do you think of my pink coat? My rescuers aren't sure how I ended up like this but it is getting lighter and shedding out-shaving me down will likely get rid of it quicker but it is cold outside. And I am adorable no matter what color I am, I will be back to normal before you know it.
I am an active, agile and loving girl, sweet as can be-I seem to love everyone, including kids. I am about 1 year old and weigh only 18 pounds, but don't worry, I won't have any trouble jumping up into your lap to cuddle. I know about being housebroken but it is hard when there is snow on the ground. If you love to walk, or hike, please pick me, I will be the best walking partner, or maybe you have a dog you need me to wear out for you? I really am still just an older puppy, but I can learn quickly. If there is a fence, it should be 6 feet tall-I have springs in my feet for such a wee little girl. (did I mention how adorable I am?)
APPLY AT ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG (click on the word "Adopt" at top of page to find the dropdown menu with application)
The adoption fee is $425, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including age appropriate vaccinations, worming, flea/tick preventative and spay/neuter. All of our dogs will be microchipped.
Because our dogs are in foster homes, applications are required prior to setting up any appointments. Calling or emailing may delay your consideration. Find our application on our website, almosthomedogs.org, then click on "Adopt" tab at top
We are a non profit no kill 501 (c)3 rescue. Please understand that we do our best to describe our dogs but often we rescue them with virtually no information about them and often our best educated guess can be challenging. Currently check, cash or venmo is preferred payment.
