Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi. My name is Sandy. I am a 5-month-old Shiba Inu. All About Paws found me when I was tossed aside in a barn with another dog who used to attack me. Right now, you can see dark areas in my fur where I was bitten, but my friends have no doubt that my coat will recover and fill out. I wasn’t given a good doggie education in the beginning, so now my foster mom is teaching me to walk on a leash and my manners of sit and stay. I can proudly say that I have never had an ‘accident’ in the house. My foster mom says I am such a good girl. She says I am a very smart and sweet girl who likes to give kisses to show how much I love my humans. In fact, she has to fend me off sometimes because I am very dedicated at giving kisses. I’m a petite girl at 17 lbs. I like all size dogs. I’m ok with cats, but one of my foster-cat siblings swiped at me so I always keep one eye on my cat friends. I am good with kids, but because I am so enthusiastic and haven’t learned all my manners, I tend to jump on them so I need to be supervised. Foster mom says I have shown no signs of aggression since coming to her house. I can be scared by new things though such as car rides, new environments, and loud noises. That will just take time for me to forget my past. I am ready for the home I was meant to live in and be a faithful companion. I just need the chance. Sandy is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, on heartworm preventative, de-wormed, and microchipped. Sandy’s adoption fee is $450.00.
