Meet Keanu!

This boy is adorable and amazing!!! He's he's much SMALLER than he appears in the photos.

We took a chance a few weeks ago when Keanu was about to be euthanized. We didn’t know much about him, but just one look at that sweet face, and we knew we could NOT let him perish. And only 8 months old. Poor sweet baby was just beginning his life!

Keanu has been a delightful addition to the Hearts and Tails family - he is super cuddly, crate trained, house trained, great on a leash, and gets along well with all the other dogs here at the shelter!

Keanu (which means “cool breeze” in Hawaiian), is here in NH, waiting for his forever family to come and take him HOME. Our hope is that the cool breeze will equate to a fresh start for this beautiful boy.

He’s now about 9 months old, and only 38 lbs.

All of our adoptable pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, and are microchipped. We work hard to ensure that each pet is a perfect match for their new family.

Hearts and Tails Animal Alliance, Inc is a 501(c) (3) non profit organization based in New Hampshire. Our story is like many others… We are a group of animal lovers / long time volunteers, who met a black dog while vacationing in Puerto Rico, whose plight was so bleak, that we were compelled to take action.
