Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Looking for a snuggle partner who can conquer any challenge? Meet Sway, your girl! This resilient cuddle-bug has a heart of gold.
Sway had a rough start as a stray in Florida, where she was treated for a broken back leg. After recovering with the help of a wonderful foster family, she made her way to Massachusetts. It took her a few days to warm up, and that's when her true personality-and, unfortunately, her medical issues-began to unfold.
We believe Sway has IBD and possible gut motility issues, and she is currently on a special hypoallergenic diet with medications. She has experienced frequent regurgitation episodes, occasional loss of appetite, and lethargy. Thanks to the amazing Baypath community, we have been able to conduct testing and diagnostics, and she will require lifelong care to manage her condition. Despite missing a back leg, she is quite mobile and can navigate stairs-or even take an elevator like a pro!
Despite her medical challenges, Sway's spirits have remained high. She is the sweetest girl, loving to cuddle with her people. When super excited, she performs the cutest zoomies and romps around. Sway also enjoys playing with her canine friends. She would be fine with or without another like-minded dog in her home. However, she says 'no thank you' to cats, as they are too exciting!
If you think you're the miracle home Sway has been looking for, please don't hesitate to reach out!
